Hello all. Im looking for someone competent with electrics to help me diagnose a problem with on one of my battery banks. Whenever any circuit connected to it is engaged (say, the water pump is turned on, or a 12v light), the voltage drops massively. Battery is fine -- have carried it to the water pump to connect it directly and it then works. Suggests resistance somewhere in the circuit, but Ive followed the various wires round and can find nothing suspicious. In fact as far as I can tell theres not every one point where the different wires go through, yet the problem is the same for them all... Completely stumped, so reluctantly admitting failure. Comments here welcomed, and am also willing to pay for a professionals time /and/or provide beers for eager volunteers. Moored in London, on the Lea, at the filter beds.
