Hello all, Next Monday, March 24, I am going to close this page - TopicsExpress

Hello all, Next Monday, March 24, I am going to close this page down. I am happy to send you all to the Trail Life USA Northern California Area page Instead. I started this page back in September as a way to build momentum and promote Trail Life for the Sacramento Area. God has worked mightily to build a small contingent of Troops in this area. He has also raised up a small group of Area Point Men who have the primary job of promoting Trail Life. John Falk, the Area Point Man for Northern California, has put up this Trail Life USA Northern California Area page. In an effort to unify and combine our efforts, I believe it is best for this Sacramento page to disappear. My role within Trail Life USA has shifted from one of promoting and praying for the program, to one of working actively at the ground level of Troop structure. I will be working as the Troopmaster of Troop 1011 at Fremont Presbyterian Church, which will hold its first meeting, this Friday the 21st. I thank you all for your prayers, words of encouragement, and for the simple act of liking this Sacramento page. Those of you on this page were a bright spot for me last fall as I sought Gods will for Trail Life and for me in the Sacramento area. You have no idea how much it meant to know that there were other people out there, literally from around the nation, who cared about what would become of Sacramentos efforts. I can tell you that your prayers have not been in vain. Today Sacramento has 2 working Troops, with at least 2 more in the works. God has blessed this area already with the capacity to serve many youth and to bring the revolutionary Trail Life program to Sacramento. So again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. I will see you all on the Trail Life USA Northern California Area page. Walk Worthy!!!!! Jonathan Pickens Troopmaster, Troop 1011
