Hello all, On October 18th and 19th the Sea Cadet unit will be hosting an event called the Sea Cadet Experience. The event will take place on the Battleship Massachusetts and the Joseph P. Kennedy Destroyer from 9am until 5pm both days. It is open to all youth from ages 11-17 in the greater Fall River Area. There is a cost of $40 for them to participate; with that they get a shirt, a water bottle, lunch and multiple snacks both days.. This is not an overnight and will take place both days from 9am- 5pm. It will be a boot camp style training for the youth however it not be all the screaming and push ups! By boot camp style we mean that their will be structure. We will cover multiple training aspects of the Sea Cadets as well as other branches of the military… meaning we will have Drill Instructors there!!! THERE IS NO MILITARY COMMITMENT OR CADET COMMITMENT!
