Hello all. So we are not doing so well financially this Christmas season. But weve been blessed in so many other ways with family that love us, good friends, and we were able to buy our first home this year (which is why we dont have any money!!). We also hit a couple of speed bumps that took us from being ok, to living check to check. But hey, we are still blessed. Now let me tell you about Christmas spirit. My wife and I cannot afford presents for each other, our friends, or our much - adored niece. Our One Gift To Ourselves Was A Christmas tree. But it turned out that when my wife found the perfect tree for us and called to ask me to come see it, I had to tell her that we had already spent our emergency funds on lifes necesseties. When she explained to the wonderful woman, Teri, at the tree lot that we would have to wait to purchase a tree, Teri reminded us that Christmas was about kindness and gave us a tree so that we could celebrate our first Christmas in our first new home. I had forgotten that it is supposed to be about your fellow man. Please, I beg you, go buy a tree from this kind, wonderful Christmas angel. She is losing her shirt on a failed venture, trying to sell trees to us here in Waxhaw, NC, but did not hesitate to act from her heart to make someone elses holiday complete. Lets help this woman give her daughter a good Christmas, in return for the random kindness she showed a couple of strangers. Please help us to sell out her lot of trees!!
