Hello all! The Global Health Society is very excited to invite you to our 1st forum Monday, October 13th, with the theme What is Public Health? This is a great introduction to our goals for the rest of the year, so join to learn and contribute to the discussion with Theresa Byrd Ph.D.,Associate Dean of the Department of Public Health at TTUHSC, and Samira Kamrudin Ph.D. Assistant Professor of the Department of Public Health at TTUHSC! We were established by students who want to share the interdisciplinary aspect of global health... it is not only healthcare workers who contribute, but also policy makers, engineers, business sectors, mathematicians, educators, etc.! We have a similar goal as the Office of Global Health in TTUHSC; to provide a community for global health education on both campuses and abroad.
