Hello all. We just wanted to take a moment to update friends and family to our family struggle over the last couple of days. Our baby boy, Rhodes, was born on 9/4 in the most frightening way possible. 3 hours of pushing, a failed forceps birth, followed by an emergency c-section left him with a lack of oxygen from reduced heart rate for a small amount of time. We won’t really know what all that means for him or for us until months or even years have passed. We don’t know how much we wish to share with the FB world yet, either, so please forgive us if we aren’t terribly responsive to comments and concerns. We appreciate you all and we’ll update as we start to feel comfortable with the information coming in. All we ask is your continued love and support, and perhaps a bit of understanding about our reduced communication. Every moment has been completely worth it, as we’re sure you’ll agree.
