Hello all! Welcome to all the new group members from recent days. You might think that because our cause has been put on hold awaiting further litigation in the Florida Supreme Court, that this page has nothing to tell you or that this is old news. Well Im here to tell you that that is far from the truth. Nowadays it is as important as ever to open the publics eyes to the damage that was caused by the lies and deceit perpetrated by selfish and greedy groups on the entire voting public of Florida. It is documented fact that the public was misled in the vote for making nets illegal in Florida. Now nearly twenty years later, the war for the rights of Commercial fishermen rages on. To be sure, were not asking for it to go back to the way it was before. Instead, in the interests of sustainable fisheries for generations to come were asking for recognition that the current laws be revisited and modified so that the men and women who ply their trade on the waters can flourish while at the same time conserving the species. We are not asking for much, just a chance to provide local and Fresh seafood to the many consumers of our great State...Blessings!
