Hello all supporters near and far, Thank you to all of our backers for your generous pledges. Every time we get a pledge, an email comes to our inbox and our hearts do a little dance of joy. Each one of you are making our dream come true of living this organic farm life. Im looking forward to hand writing our thank you notes so that I can sincerely show our gratitude with paper and ink. Have you ever been a part of a Kickstarter project before? We have backed a handful of projects in the last few years. It is very exciting to see a small amount of money help someone fulfill a creative dream. Our greenhouse is just one part of the larger picture here on our farm, but it is one of the most important. This building will be the foundation of our success for the rest of our years growing vegetables here on Gravel Road. We are not quite halfway to our goal of $5,500. We have raised $2,125 as of Wednesday afternoon, which leaves $3,375 left to raise. In case you werent aware, we need full support of our goal in order to get funded, Kickstarter is an All or Nothing platform. We understand that your hard earned dollars are very important to you, as our blood, sweat and tears go into every dollar we earn here on the farm. Know that we take nothing for granted, especially our family, friends, and customers who have been there for us through our last two seasons. Thursday night, January 22nd, from 5:30-8pm we will have a table set up at the Iola-Scandinavia Fitness and Aquatic Center for a local food event for families. The event is focused on getting the students to try new foods and the parents to get new ideas for making healthy lunches and snacks and also meet area farmers. Students will earn a Free Swim Wristband for trying the available healthy food choices. Then, they can use their wristband to go swim! LOCAL FOOD FAIR 2015 Thursday, February 5th, from 5:30-8:30 @ SPASH (Stevens Point Area Senior High) • Potato Bar Dinner with deluxe toppings from central Wisconsin restaurants • Info Fair & Marketplace featuring over 40 local farms, businesses and organizations (local goods, information & CSA farm sign-ups) • Educational Workshops • Childrens Activities • A showing of the film Food Patriots!
