Hello and Blessings. I was nominated by James Crandall, Lee MacLeod and David R. Darrow for the FB 5 day weight loss Challenge. What we all have in common is Art Center College of Design. I dusted off some paintings around the time of graduation in 1980 and now expose my huge debt to Chuck Close whose work gave me permission to not be intimidated by Abstract Expressionism.I sent the image of Reagan to the White House and I was amazed that I received a thank you from the president. The album cover is of Christian musician Randy Stonehill. His wife at the time Sandi Warner Stonehill saw how arrogant I was and boldly told me she would pray for my salvation. Years later her prayers were answered. Finally, I have drawn many images of my grandfather who lived in Bernallio New Mexico. I have a fond romantic relationship with that land as our family would vacation there and I felt I had entered a western dream.
