Hello and welcome, To introduce myself, I am Radhia Ben Amor, chief candidate of the Union for Tunisia, section of the Americas and rest of Europe. The union for Tunisia (UPT) is an electoral grouping among political parties and independent personalities. The UPT lists include: -38% of independent -40% of young -10 women heads of lists that represent 38% of all heads of lists. This demonstrates that the UPT believes in youth and makes it act, believes in democracy and makes it happen, believes in women and makes them participate. And above all the UPT believes in the union of democratic forces. These are not only words, they have been put into action. And our history proves it... just remember the sit-in of departure by 2013. Our country today is going through a difficult period and must be directed with wisdom to get through the difficulties which we are facing: -Terrorism within the country and on our borders -Poverty -The increase of the prices -The tumble of institutions -The decadence of morals -The degradation of the environment -The impoverishment of education and the decline of public health. For all this we believe that our strength is in our union. Our exchange and for our fellow citizens abroad, we have prepared a program that focuses on the following 5 areas: 1 - The implementation of an ambitious policy which supports the Tunisian citizens abroad. For example the simplification and modernization of consular procedures. 2 - The defense of the rights of Tunisian students and facilitating their integration in their host country and in Tunisia. 3 - The simplification of the administrative process in Tunisia and the host country for Tunisians abroad as well as for the members of their families. 4 - The encouragement of economic relations between the Tunisians abroad and their country. 5. Finally, we also want to build a proactive cultural policy which focuses on our civilization, our culture and our language. So we will promote tourism and Tunisia will be a source of light for the world. It was Radhia Ben Amor for the electoral list of the Union for Tunisia section of the Americas and rest of Europe.
