Hello, and welcome to my Trunk Show! My name is Denise and I have been making a selling lampwork beads under the name of Whirled Peas Beads for the last eight years. I am so excited to be here! SO – Here’s the plan: I hope to list as many as 80 sets – I will change listings at 12 NOON on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Tuesday evening at 10:00 PM. I also have FOUR give-a-ways! I am so excited to be with you all as I prepare my Thanksgiving meal – that’s right – I am one of those who cooks for days in preparation for a one hour meal! All of my beads are made from Borosilicate glass, and go directly from the flame to a digitally controlled kiln. This assures long life and durability. Each bead is inspected and cleaned by me. Some of the beads feature extra large holes – these beads have been placed back in the kiln to heat slowly, then I take them out, one at a time and fire polish the holes to make sure there are no sharp edges – they are then returned to the kiln for annealing. I also do this with all of my disc beads. It’s an extra step, but I find it makes a big difference when transforming beads into jewelry – and that’s what it’s all about!!! I have been designing and making jewelry for more than 40 years and once I discovered lampwork beads, I became OBSESSED with designing and making my own beads! I always have a jewelry designers’ perspective when I make my beads and hope that you see many ways to include my beads into your own designs! All of my beads are made in my home studio in upstate NY. I am always happy to exchange beads if you are unhappy with them for any reason. I am always happy to make additional beads if the sets are short of some beads for a design you are working on, and I really LOVE to make custom beads with your input into the design! PayPal is the only form of payment for this show, and all beads will be promptly shipped as soon as payment is received. Shipping is $4.00 for US, $6.00 for Canada and $10.00 for international.
