Hello everybody! It’s a wuvely sunny and warm day here AND it’s a Bank Holiday, so I get to spend more time with Daddy as well as Mummy today! BOL! It’s the last official holiday before Christmas, so Mummy says! I don’t think I’ll notice too much difference today, with the exception of being able to get lots of extra cuddles from my Daddy! Mummy’s got some work to do (as usual) this morning, and Daddy says that he wants to cut some wood ready for the winter so, once I’ve barked these words to you, I shall catch a snooze so I’m ready and energised for spending the afternoon doing something fun! Daddy came out with us on our walk this morning and it was wuvely walking in the warm sunshine. It wasn’t too hot for me as there was a little bit of a cooling wind. We had fun down our favourite lane as we had a race with a tractor to see who could get to the top of the lane first! WE WON! BOL! We were a little later out this morning – Mummy and Daddy spent a little longer over breakfast than when Daddy is at work – so there were no cats to play with! I bet they’ll be waiting for Mummy and me tomorrow morning! There were loads of birds around, though, and the air was full of their song but they were all out of reach! It didn’t really matter as I had both Mummy and Daddy to walk with and it gave me the extra chance to focus on scent trails! Even though Daddy was home with us, Mummy and I had our usual morning ritual of ‘Tickle-Tum’ and play fight! Daddy joined in with ‘Tickle-Tum’ for a short while but he doesn’t know the full rules! Mummy does now, but it took a while to train her. She does it well now! I need extra time with Daddy to show him exactly what to do BUT he IS getting better and better at it all the time! BOL! Thank you to those of you who liked or commented on the link Daddy added, which shows Mummy and I during a small part of a training session! It’s quite funny as I’m pre-empting what Mummy wants me to do! Actually, I think I’M training HER to give me treats more than I’m doing behaviour training for her! We always go over things I already know as well as the serious stuff of new learning! It’s a good combination! Ooooh! Daddy’s just gone outside! That means the sofa is free, so I’ll stop barking here today, after all it IS a Bank Holiday, which should mean extra snoozing time! I’ll pop by later in the day to catch up with you all again!
