Hello everyone - on the SOAPBOX this morning. I keep hearing about the NHS, I cannot say how many times this month so prompted this. Think of it in a positive light, we know it is overloaded with use, I know there have been cuts as I was a part of the NHS literally axed off and its happening a lot. But truly think WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF IT NO LONGER EXISTS? The good bits! it does supply facts figures statistics and is regulated to reasonable degree, and it has complaint services (However these are too complicated for use) What would happen if we all needed private insurance? What will we do if we have no money to buy our appointments and medication? NOTHING IS PERFECT but we are lucky to have the NHS, so boost someones morale and thank them for the services you receive, keep the local services and NHS alive. We need to use it better, we likely all agree so please see the good in it and keep it going for those who do need the GP, A & E, Dentistry for all ages and ability especially SPECIAL CARE SERVICES. Eye Clinics, subsidised Optician, removal of Cataracts etc. Children Services, Social; Care, Hip Operations, Appendicitis or any blockages within our human system requiring emergency care in operating theatre (this is expensive to provide). Diabetic Clinics. Blood tests. MRI Scans, X-Rays and complex systems. I could go on so value what you have, it needs compassionate managers and yes a MIX of private treatment is great. Keep the NHS in existence because there is so much good within it.
