Hello everyone! Adele and I wanted to give you an update about the Memorial for our son James. The grave site number is 554473 which is on the northwest side of the cemetery. As you come thru the entrance you go to the first street and then turn to the right. Go to the end where the road curves to the left and on the right hand side you will see us. We have been informed that the Patroit Guard will be attending the Memorial with their motorcycles and American flags. We are so honored and blessed to have them assist us in honoring our son. In addition, the event will be video tapes as there will also be photos taken that we will post on Facebook for those of you that can not attend. Some of you may know already but for those of you that do not know, the Kenai Peninsula Borough government voted to name a road on our property to Sergeant Bearup Road. We will have a dedication this spring in Alaska for that and would love for all of our Alaskan friends to attend. I will have more information on that in the near future. As I mentioned before, we will be having a dinner following the Memorial and it will be held at Steve and Joys home at 4627 East Dale Lane, Cave Creek, Arizona 85331 The mailing address is Cave Creek but it is physically in the city of Phoenix. Dale Lane is just north of Dynamite two blocks on Tatum Blvd. You turn west on Dale Lane to the property which is on the south side of the street. Please dont block the neighbors drives so that they have access to their homes. At 6:15 pm we will be releasing balloons as will Fawn, the children and our family in Alaska will also be releasing balloons. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you at the Memorial on the 8th at 6:00 pm and dinner after. If you have any questions please email me at [email protected] or call us at 520-560-0336.
