Hello everyone. As a lot of you know I am currently traveling in the Philippines with my friend, Aaron Root. Im sure you have all heard of the devastating Typhoon that has struck here. Aaron and I will be leaving our current town of Sagada to head south to help with relief efforts. Steve Rogers, the owner of the raft company we have been helping with, will be setting us up with his contacts. We WILL have cell phone reception where we are going and will have someone update my status on Facebook and give a first hand look at how the relief efforts and our situation are unfolding. Most places are in dire need of supplies. We will be self funding all of the supplies we will be bringing down including medications, medical supplies, various modes of water purification, chainsaws and anything else we are asked to bring. We are asking our friends and family to help in any ways you can to help offset the cost of supplies. Small donations would be preferred, as we can only pull so much out of the ATMs here. Any excess money we cannot pull out will be donated electronically to a relief organization. PLEASE DONT FEEL OBLIGATED. You can send the funds to my personal PayPal account at s_rist@yahoo. Please send the funds as a gift or to friends and family as they wont charge a service fee. I believe you can use a debit card to send funds, and you might not even need an account.
