Hello everyone! I am new to the group and to looming, but I have done a bunch of hats and scarves. Just thought Id share the beginning of a new project Im starting. I have decided to do a blanket in panels (tried the 10 stitch and didnt like the corners), in several different stitches and panel lengths. To start for the sides, I am doing 20 sets in each color of the ew/p garter stitch (to total 40 rows each color patch), and I will probably do 6-8 of those, and make 2 of each for the outside sides (does that make sense?) Then the middle will be in alternating colors from the sides, but wider than the sides as well. I am using long looms to accomplish this. Oh, and its the Bernat Blanket yarn in sand and sailors delight.
