Hello everyone, I have been waiting to post on this issue for a few days hoping more of an official comment would be made. I didnt want to add more mud to the murky waters. People have called, emailed, text @ face booked me about Crothersville school and Austin schools consolidating. Im not for sure why folks are asking me, but I think rumors have started because of what has come from a teachers staff meeting at Cville. Here is what I know from what Terry L. Seals Richey has told me. Starting next year the freshman class can choose to take elective classes at Austin that Cville doesnt offer and Austin can come to Cville to take elective classes that they dont offer. Then the following year they will have the next years freshman start if they choose to do so and so on until all 4 years are going or coming. I hope that is what the school board and the state has planned. The monthly crothersville school board meeting is next Monday if anyone has any questions. Which Im sure there will be.
