Hello everyone!!! I thought I would share this treat with you. Im taking it way back for #ThrowbackThursday. Here is some rare footage of the Beastie Boys live back in 1992 & this is the year that I first joined up with them. Playing the Universal Amphitheatre, as it was called back in those days, was a dream for me. The venue was recently torn down to make room for a Harry Potter ride. Go figure!! Anyway, this was at about the end of the last leg of the Check Your Head tour and it was such a blast. With both Cypress Hill & the Rollins Band opening up, it was a powerful tour. This was the tour that I had first met up with the Hill and started hanging out. Its great to be able to see this footage of the whole concert. Even though the quality and sound isnt the best, this captures a moment of my life that I treasure and its also a chance to see the B-Boys doing their thing when they were just getting back on the rise. I do miss these days!! Enjoy this classic look back at one of the most influential Hip Hop groups of all time and I am thankful to have been a part of their history!! R.I.P. MCA
