Hello everyone, I wanted to post an update. My RDD was 12 July coming from Germany. I received my car on 13 August. My vehicle arrived with a few cuts and bruises. The VPC offered my chump change for those cuts and bruises. I told them I wanted to file with IAL instead and get my own quotes. I called USAA and was given the list of USAA approved body shops in my area. Got my two quotes as told to do by the VPC rep who tried to low ball me on the price. Learned that lesson when I PCSed to Germany...told the VPC check for repairs of another vehicle I had and boy was I low balled...about $500 less than the cheapest repair place. Anyhow, I forward those two quotes to Mr Todd and Mr Tipton last Friday. I had to email them again just to make sure he received my two quotes. He responded today stating they accepted one of the quotes (lowest one of course) and that they will be mailing me a check next week. Fingers crossed. I have an appt at the body shop on 15 Sept.
