Hello everyone!! I’m Jaggie, and I’m really hoping I can finally get the attention of my future family this week! I’m a perfect little boy and for some reason I’m still with SCARS. I’m only about 6 months old so I’m very playful and fun. My ideal home will have a friendly, energetic cat buddy for me to play with. I’ve been playing chase and wrestling with my foster sister Bayla and I’m having a great time. I’ve lived with dogs and cats and I’ve been great with everyone so far. I love to cuddle and I’m the sort of cat who isn’t bothered by anything. I adore people and since I trust my human companions completely, I’m very gentle and easy going. You can carry me around or cut my nails or whatever you want to do. For me any attention is good attention! I often purr myself to sleep on my foster mom’s lap. I even went out to an adoption day last weekend and I just sat calmly with my foster mom for the whole 3 hours and enjoyed all the visitors who came over to pet me. I only have one bad habit, and as far as bad habits go, it is pretty endearing. Sometimes it’s necessary to take a kitten away from its mother very suddenly and at a young age, and though this isn’t the best for us, it can be better than the alternative. When kittens are born to a mother who is feral, it may be necessary for us to be taken away at a young age to ensure that we learn to trust people as kittens and are able to live in homes, where we can be safe and warm. However, this has left me with a few “mommy issues”! When I’m anxious or even just when I’m falling asleep I like to lick and knead with my paws, which is a behaviour left over from when I was nursing from my mom. It can be pretty excessive so we’re working on it, but it’s really pretty harmless. It’s a comforting behaviour for me left over from when I was a baby.
