Hello everyone! Just wanted to keep you all updated on some things of importance concerning the team: As far as the issues with the uniforms are concerned I see that most of you have addressed your concerns on the corresponding Facebook thread. Thanks for your quick attention on this. Jennifer Voelker has volunteered to forward all the concerns to Tricia at Curt Smiths on Tuesday morning. It is very important that you put any issues with the uniforms on the Facebook page by Monday. Jennifer will get the information from there and also be available at practice Monday to make sure we have all concerns addressed before we contact Curt Smiths. We will also be requesting a different brand of the white pants for everyone so do not do anything to mess those up as we will most likely be returning them. The doubleheader for next Saturday Oct 11 vs. the Roughnecks is set. Games will be at Highland middle school with game time set for 10am. Players should arrive at 8:45am. Uniform will be purple shirt, black pants and purple socks. I will post directions to the field mid-week. I am excited as Im sure most of you are to see the kids take the field in a competitive game. Keep in mind though that the coaching staff uses the fall games as our exhibition season and the main goal is not to go out and win at all costs. We are more geared towards finding out what we need to work on in the winter off-season training and figuring out a little more clearly how we can set each player (as well as the team) up for success. But if we win thats ok too. lol Booster Rep Danielle Foley will be reaching out to everyone concerning a special uniform we may use in the Pitch for the Cure tournamnet. This uniform will demonstrate our support to those who have dealt with cancer themselves or had a family member afflicted. I know we have all known someone who has had this horrible affliction impact their lives so I think this we be a great way to show our support. Again, Danielle will be talking to you about this. Hope everyones fundraising is going well.
