Hello everyone! Last night, we had a phenomenal meeting! We started thinking through our plan of action for the Political Party, and here is what we are considering/have decided: - Some field games - Fun photo opps - Live music - BBQ - Wear our T-shirts (Shelby!) to the party - Table in LC to promote party - Oct. 16th, 6pm - Hopefully at the George Bush Pond Also, Shelby prompted an idea for another fun event, which we may give more consideration to after the Political Party (National Treasure themed scavenger hunt?). Lastly, wed like to do a short video promo for the Political Party. Jenna is in charge of the script, and she would appreciate it if you would post any suggestions or ideas you have on Thursday or, at the latest, Friday of this week (Sept. 18-19). Keep in mind, the video will be about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes long. Once she has a script, which she will complete by the end of this month, Shelby will help us create a video to circulate during the first week or so of October. We will not do a voter registration drive this year, but we will offer to shuttle students to the polls. Anyone got a shuttle license? The Texas state CR conference is on Saturday, Oct. 18. Start thinking about whether or not youd like to go to College Station to attend the conference with other CR students from across Texas.
