Hello everyone..My names Tammy and Im new to the group Thank you for accepting me.. Ive always had hearing difficulties since I was a child and wear hearing aids in both ears Ive recently been diagnosed with Cholesteatoma Ive seen a surgeon had my pre-op assessment and due to have an operation (i think its a Mastoidectomy) on April 1st. Im a bit nervous about it. I get quite a lot of discharge and also some bleeding from my ear and a whooshing and thumping noise especially when trying to sleep at night..not to dizziness headaches and feeling sometimes being sick! Are all these typical symptoms of Ctoma? And for anyone whos had the op does it improve?? Thank you and hope you all have a good day :)
