**Hello everyone!.. This is Sister Bolanoss mom. I would like to share her last letter. She is quite thankful to serve our Heavenly Father and gain day by day spiritual experiences with the wonderful people at Lyon. This is the letter: Family and friends! I love you! France is wonderful! It really is a magical place, especially during Christmas season :) Oh la, where should I even begin? Lets begin by taking a moment to think about the many blessings we are given each day by our Heavenly Father. He truly is wonderful isnt He? He sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to this earth to teach us, love us, and to care for us with all His heart. And even up there, our brother Jesus Christ continues to do so. Last transfer, at the end of district meeting, we were all given the opportunity to bear our testimonies of the Savior. I am so thankful for every testimony given. And I am so thankful to have brothers and sisters in the mission who love the Savior so much and that every day they decide to do something to thank Him for all the miraculous things He does for us. It is so wonderful! I am also thankful for the French who we encounter and express their gratitude for the Savior, especially during this Christmas season. Our mission President has instructed us to Share The Gift. You may now wonder what sharing the gift is. Well, Ill tell you all about it and how wonderful this missionary opportunity is for each and everyone of you! The Church recently launched this project and has instructed all missions around the world to share it with everyone in their countries. They have created a video explaining . . . hmm maybe I should let you watch it first! Here is the link: mormon.org/christmas. Did you watch it? Isnt it wonderful? Isnt it just great to focus on Him, our Savior during this Christmas season? I remember that as a little kid I would always think of gifts when I thought of Christmas. I always wondered what other people thought. Thanks to our district leaders wonderful Christmas questionnaire (and now President Rooneys), I now know more about what other people think when they think of Christmas. Some think about gifts, others think about families, and others think melancholy or sadness. To those people we immediately Share The Gift with all our love and joy for this Christmas season! Because we know that this is the most special time to Share The Gift by sharing the story about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16) Will YOU now share the gift? Please do so! Share it through Facebook, emails, texts, phone call conversations, and in person! Along with this wonderful video and website that the Church has created for us, share your testimonies about the Savior and His birth and how He has a great impact in your lives. Doing so will be one of the most important and powerful thing you will ever do. I promise you will see miracles. I dont know when, or how, but I know you will, because you are most likely about to make a difference in someones life. Each and every one of you has the light of Christ. Take this opportunity to light it up in someone else that might be having a difficult time, or just needs to be reminded of this beautiful message: The birth of Christ. I am thankful for each and everyone of you! I am thankful for being able to share about the birth of Jesus Christ, about His atonement and the meaning behind His big and complete love for us. Each day, Sister DeOliveira and I get ready to share it with the Montaubanese, many of which have lost hope and think there is a definite end. But we look at them and with love we assure them that He loves them and that it is not the end. Can a gift given 2,000 years ago still matter today? Yes. And it is through Him that you, me, and our brothers and sisters can find peace and everlasting joy. Discover, Embrace, and Share The Gift. Lamour, Soeur Bolanos **Thanks so much for taking your time to read this post.HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
