Hello everyone, Tomorrow evening (Tuesday 29 October) sees the third of our races over 16km. With any luck, the wind will stay away and the sun will keep shining. Anyone able to help with registration/start-finish/turn-around duties would be very warmly welcomed. I have been asked if it would be possible to group the results according to the type of bike used. I am happy to do that if we can find a simple system. My first thought is to add a column for something like TT (think about it), C (for Clip-ons), D (for Drops) and 3 (for trike) next to each riders name. I will still publish the overall results, but it shouldnt take much run up another list with these simple classifications. Next week (Tuesday 5 November) sees the first of three 8km Junior or Novice Have-A-Go Time Trials. We have decided to run these slightly earlier than usual, with the first 8km rider starting at 5.45pm. The short course riders will start and finish next to the Registration Desk as usual. There will be a temporary turn-around after 4km, which we will move after the last 8km rider has turned. Depending on numbers, our regular 16km riders should start racing soon after 6.00pm. I will post further details on Wednesday, but in the meantime please let you family, friends and anyone else you think would enjoy the Have-A-Go ride.
