Hello everyone (advice needed) my Jack russell Bandit is turning 3 in december. He is generally a well behaved dog, when we go to vet clinics and walks etc. When visitors come to the house that he knows (my sisters and daughters boyfriend) he is fine and loves them. But my husbands father and step mother he hates. Really aggressive that i have had to remove him to the laundry area. They have just only started visiting monthly. Well today i brought him out of the laundry on a lead to ensure they would not be eaten by him. He growls and growls and if any of them stand up or walk around he goes nuts. I have grumpted at him and made him surrender to the drop position until he calms down. but then he starts this hole process over again. I thought the best thing is not to hide him away but to have him controlled so that he gets to know them. Am i doing something wrong?? Seriously he wants to eat them!!! also i have a girl jr who is 9 and loves these two people, she loves all people, so no problems with her. Bandit watches the inlaws patting amber and growls some more. Any suggestions???
