Hello everyone sorry for the delay in update... but wanted to let everyone know how Skyler doing now I have some time. On Monday we noticed her peep on the vent was staying real low and it should not cuz its a dial in peep so I called the doctor! He seems to think it could be 1 or 2 things her vent isnt supporting her the way it should or she has a leak in her trach. Which she does have a leak but its never been this bad to mess with her peep so we have appt set for ENT on the 27th to see what they think.... On top of all this last night at 3am she desated and it took we quite some time to get her up once I got her sable her breathe rate was off the charts ( 42 to 53 a min) so finally around 8 30 her breathe rate sable but I also had to change her trach to get these results... so the doctor thinking she has several plugs and wants me to bump up her cpt for a few days and as long as she stay under 50 bpm she can stay home away from all the rsv and flu people! But if she consistently staying at 50 breathes a minute I have to bring her in. So guys i need all pray warriors to start praying please we dont want to go to CHOA where all the germs are because he doesnt think this is an infection!! Ill keep everyone posted as I can as of right now she breathing at 40 bpm.... Thanks in advance!
