Hello everyone, thank you for accepting me here. I hope it is all right for me to post this appeal, especially if there are any British members. We urgently need a long term foster or adopter for Tosca. She is a medium sized border collie cross dog with a loving and playful nature. She is currently in emergency foster with the UK side of her rescue, having travelled from Romania just a few days ago. . Hours after the arrival, her adoption has fallen through. Unfortunately although very friendly and excited, Tosca was also very scared and wasnt able to stay with her adopter as she had a bad reaction to the man in the house. This is being worked on by her emergency fosterer who is keeping her calm and quiet and introducing her slowly to different experiences. She is a wonderful dog who is fully house trained having been a street dog, but fostered and nurtured in Romania. She loves people, but would suit a home without children initially, for test, and someone who is experienced in working with dogs who need reassurance and a bit of time. Ideally a lady adopter/fosterer with skills or a house with an experienced man, used to rescue dogs. She loves women and would need introducing to a man a little more slowly. She loved the male Romanian van driver and both men and women and the kids who were caring her while still on the street! She is good with small, friendly dogs but is scared of cats and big or dominant dogs. She sleeps very well, she wants to play and loves being fussed and loved (although, at the moment, we try to maintain her excitement level low and keep her calm). She deserves such a lovely home and some stability in her little life. She is spayed, vaccined, de-wormed and microchipped.
