Hello everyone, thank you so much for the kind thoughts sent my way.. A 6 hour stay at St Francis yesterday turned out to be 12 hours...I got to the hospital at 6:30 am, had my surgery at 8:15ish, then while in recovery my breathing was very shallow so I had to stay in recovery longer than expected...finally got released about 7pm! My throat was so swollen that I couldnt take any pain meds! I called the surgeon on call this morning & he told me to come in to the emergency room because I cant swallow & obviously cant eat anything to take my meds! He said I could try steroids to get the swelling down, I forced the pills down & had a little ice cream! Still hurts to swallow but not as bad! Thank you again for caring!
