Hello everyone, wanted to give an update on Mareta Ravioli Inc. and Mareta Pasta N Deli. The only reason we gave up the deli side of the business was because my brother Michael Villarreal and his wife Kim had triplets on July 2. We were working on average 75 to 85 hours a week, I am not complaining its just the facts. Mareta Ravioli, the manufacturing side of the business, which is located in the metropolis of Leonore needs anywhere from 50 to 60 hours a week of attention. I can only do so much, since I am by myself, and I am not looking for Anyones help, no offense! Since Mareta Ravioli has been in business since 1956, I felt it would be the safest way to go. As for Mareta Ravioli, I am in charge of the day to day operations. I have also gone back to distributing our own products. Unfortunately there are some sour grapes about my decisions, and have heard many crazy rumors, so I will set it straight. 1, we are not going out of business. 2, we will still be making the 3lb. bulk bag of beef tortellini. 3, Mareta will be more than happy to service any of the local restaurants with the 10lb. institutional case or the restaurants can use US Foods as a supplier, if that makes it easier. Once again, I am so grateful for our loyal customers and i am looking forward to serving the Illinois Valley with quality products for years to come! Thank you, Esteban Steve Villarreal
