Hello facebook peeps, As you read last night, and against my - TopicsExpress

Hello facebook peeps, As you read last night, and against my better judgment (you know what I’m mean if you’ve seen me breathing heavy after running to catch a phone), I have decided to accept an invitation to participate in this weekend’s Dallas Tough Mudder. The Tough Mudder events help raise funds and awareness for an organization that is near and dear to my heart, the Wounded Warrior Project. It has been sometime since I was last saw the battle field but there are many others that are still carrying our nation’s flag forward and supporting our missions overseas, some paying the ultimate sacrifice while many others return home with injuries, both visible and invisible. Organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project help these returning veterans by creating opportunities for them to connect socially, locate gainful employment and realize how capable they can be in the face of their disabilities, all while helping to fill the gaps created by twelve years of war and returning combat veterans. I ask that you support me in supporting this organization as they fulfill their commitment to the motto: “The greatest casualty is being forgotten” in any way you are able, there is no donation too small! I am attaching links to both the Tough Mudder donation site as well as the Wounded Warrior Project below: https://register.toughmudder/tm/#event/18020/page/donate/fundraiser/r11411551 woundedwarriorproject.org/ Thank you in advance for your support, John Powell
