Hello family and friends ~LeEtta here~ today brought another shift of pain meds...and then it didnt...the dr didnt get around to contacting the pharmacy with the prescription until it was too late to do a pick up tonight. No one had left me with a plan B so I had to hunt down a nurse to let me know what I could do instead. Things worked out just fine at the end of the day. Thank goodness. This last weekend was indeed a gift to have had her so alert and social for most of it. Today was a very quiet day with mom inside herself for most of it. She came out a bit more tonight especially when I started to get on her case about making sure shed drank enough for the day. Drinking is really important to keep her kidney function up and when she spends time being quiet she doesnt realize how much time has passed by or whether or not shes even had anything much to drink...that is...until I start getting on her case! Then she has the odacity to stick her tonque out at me!! Gratitude?...not!
