Hello fb fam, here is this weeks poem/short story repost, you still have time, looking forward to reading some of the mens answers, come on guys lets show them what were made of. A Father’s Failure There are many who will never admit to it and say it’s not their fault, but in order to retain wisdom they will have to accept the possibility of it happening. We all fail a time or too, it’s how we rebound that’s watched closely. An example of ownership is the lesson that will be learned, so be careful how you teach. The children never understood why you were so hard on them; let’s just hope they get the picture before you’re gone. You choose not to let them see the tears you shed for making decisions that bring pain and disappointment to their faces, but maybe that’s what they need to see. Guilty of being less than a father is what you’ve avoided, so be proud of the ingredients you used to make a better person. For those who willingly refuse to acknowledge such a prestigious honor, their reward comes later with a painful phone call that will deduct years from an already shorten life. With this failure comes much success and loyalty filled with nights of peaceful sleep, so enjoy it while others weep. On behalf of the many that never get recognized, I present you with this wonderful prize; “a smile” When you reminisce on your past, less hope your failure lasted along with the lesson you taught of how a father’s failure can be a child’s reward.
