Hello fb family and friends, And welcome to another - TopicsExpress

Hello fb family and friends, And welcome to another installment of that venue thats known all around the world as Jims Tidbits of useless but interesting facts. Before we begin, I would like to inform you that there will be no bits on Thursday because Dana and I are having a visit from our long time friend Kathy, who still lives in Virginia. I met her in Junior High school, and weve been friends ever since and Dana and her used to be roomies back in the day. So, its really going to be great to see her again and spend time with her. So, thats why there will be no bits on Thursday. Then, on the following week, I will be in N.C. to visit my family and friends and drive my new car back here to Tucson with a few stops along the way to visit some of my friends. Then, after all of that, its off to Hawaii with Dana for a 10 day trip. Then, I am going to just stay home for awhile and recuperate. So, with all that said... are you ready for some Tidbits? Good, lets get started..... Did you know??? 1) The first known transfusion of blood was performed as early as 1667, when Jean-Baptiste, transferred two pints of blood from a sheep to a young man. ( It never said what the side effects were, but the young man had developed quite a taste for grass I am told). 2) (This one I personally know for a fact because I used to work there). Coca-Cola would be green, if coloring werent added to it. 3) ( I found this one interesting). More folks are killed each year by bees than from snakes. 4) Dolphins sleep, (yes they do sleep), with one eye open. And number.... 5) (Now this one I just have to post because I just think its hilarious). If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an Atomic bomb. ( I really have no idea who does the research on this sort of stuff, but it makes one wonder just what kind of life such a person leads...). lol Well, there it is. Todays Tidbits. Not so sure when you all will be hearing from me again, not for at least a week and probably more, but I really do wish the very best to all of you. Stay safe and have fun. Take care and God bless, Jim
