Hello, folks. If you have a chance please share, Tweet, and post a comment in support of not killing these cats due to one rabid cat. Here is the link: abc27/story/23076590/township-plans-to-euthanize-feral-cats. If they think killing these cats will solve their rabies issue they are sorely mistaken. Why cats? Why not every animal that carries rabies like skunks, squirrels, possums and yes, even dogs - that live in the township as well? How much is this costing taxpayers? If the township truly cares about public health, they would embrace Trap Neuter Return - an effective use of taxpayer money since all cats are spayed and neutered and vaccinated against RABIES.
