Hello friends, I hope everyone had a wonderfully blessed day:))Ours has been pretty busy,but I finally slowed down and cooked some homemade fried chicken strips,mashed taters and gravy,and cut up some garden fresh tomatoes and cukes to go in a salad! PJ has had a pretty good day and is going to sleep early because his back and legs are hurting,so I came out on the front porch to set a spell:)) My sweet Jan and her hubby came over last night and brought veggies out of their garden!Mine didnt do too good this year.Our soil is a lot rockier than theirs- theirs is very dark and rich. Jan and Justen went to the old-timey drive in to see Planet of the Apeslast night and said it was fun-Justen had never been to one. I remember the one in Glenwood!.Ha! I remember one movie,Legend of Boggy Creek, that my cousins wife and I went to see.Jan was about 6,and she sat in my lap nearly the whole time with her head on my shoulder not wanting to see the Fouke Monster!! Ahhh,the good old days!!This area where we live is slow-paced,and I think its neat they have the drive-in.I hear lots of folks talking about how they enjoy it:)) I got a nice bookmark from Dr.Charles Stanley in the mail today,and I was reading over some life principles to live by on it.A couple of them really stood out to me. Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees.If necessary,God will move Heaven and earth to show us His will.I believe that with all my heart-Hes done it for me!! Even when we dont understand whats going on in our lives,and how something seemingly bad could possibly turn out to have a blessing in iit-TRUST HIM!!And just keep on TRUSTING HIM-no matter how bleak the situation looks.Before you know it-your ashes will turn into a huge blessing and you will be praising and thanking God:)) I do believe its starting to get dark a tad earlier here lately.May just be me and myfall thing!I do so love the awesome colors of Autumn:)) Have a peaceful nights rest everyone,and sweet dreams!Lets remember to pray for Israel,the sick,and the lost.And keep that smile going:)) Love,hugs,and prayets
