Hello friends!! Theres a lot going on today during Festivus - TopicsExpress

Hello friends!! Theres a lot going on today during Festivus (according to Seinfeld) and of course, all on VERY short notice. In addition to five dogs we have been asked to save from a euthanasia list, we have been asked to help two kittens from Pinellas County Animal Services and Rick Chaboudy just received a call to help two guinea pigs from an abandoned house in Clearwater. We know its a busy time of the year but if you can help, please read the stories below and respond quickly. As always, your help is DEEPLY APPRECIATED! ----------- We just received a call that these five dogs - Marty, Willis, Devin Jasmine & Cammie - are scheduled to be euthanized on Christmas Eve. They are at Highlands County Animal Services. Marty weighs 15 lbs, Willis weighs 10 lbs, Devin weighs 40 lbs and Cammie is completely emaciated and we dont have a weight on her yet, or a weight for Jasmine. They need to be picked up by 3:30 TODAY. We are short on time so we need help IMMEDIATELY. The shelter is located in Sebring, Florida, which is 2.5 - 3 hours away. If you are able to make the trip, please contact Suncoast Animal League at [email protected] or call 727-786-1330 ASAP. Sorry about the short notice but there was nothing we could do about it. Thank you friends!! _______________________________ And WOW, thats not all that has suddenly happened. We also need help with two kittens! Pinellas County Animal Services has asked Suncoast Animal League to take two 7 or 8-week-old kittens that were originally strays. The kittens have gone through their hold period and have not been claimed. They are too small to have spay or neuter surgery so we were asked to help. If anyone can get these kittens for us today before 4pm, please contact us at [email protected] with your information ASAP. We just received this request a few minutes ago but want to act on it immediately. Thanks again friends!! P.S. We will also need help with fosters for the five dogs. Can you help a homeless pup during the holidays? Please email [email protected]. Thanks!
