Hello friends and family. I hope my correspondence finds you all in good health and spirits. I would like to inform you of a travesty that has befallen me. I purchased an airline ticket through the Orbitz travel agency, I spoke with one of their customer service reps to secure my travel plans, whom by the way was a foreign outsourced worker whose English could be considered poor at best. This customer service rep was clearly derelict in her responsibilities, as well as her comprehension skills. Several times during this conversation I reiterated my itinerary and flight plans to assure that their comprehension, she reassured me with absolute certainty that my flight plans were correct to my specifications and requirements. I paid the requested fee and concluded my conversation with the Orbitz customer service rep. Two days later I called United Airways to confirm my itinerary, and as a result I was informed that my flight plans did not correspond with what I had requested from Orbitz. And United Airways informed me that I had to address the matter with Orbitz. I informed Orbitz of the discrepancies in an effort to correct the oversight that they are clearly responsible and culpable for. I was shuffled around to five customer service reps, three supervisors, and one profoundly inept, rude, discourteous manager; all of whom informed me that they have a no refund policy and could only alter my flight itinerary for an additional $340 which is completely unacceptable and absurd. I am telling you this story to warn you that you should not use Orbitz they are unprofessional, unreliable, and outsource their work to foreign countries taking away from the American economy. I have begun a systematic smear campaign of the Orbitz agency, which will include daily correspondence with Orbitz customer service in Chicago at their headquarters, written letters, and a social media barrage in an effort to disparage this agency and diminish their customer base. All of my considerable resources will be brought to bear to tarnish the reputation of this agency. My methods and strategies will include Malice, bad intentions, unrivaled persistence, and consistency. I am steadfast in my resolve to get Orbitz attention.
