Hello friends, racers and fellow residents of the Republic As Im sure some of you know it was a crazy morning on Saturday and we at Republic Bicycles did our very best to look after all of you. We are now asking for you to help us. During the peak of the traffic on Saturday morning a theif made off with a brand new 2014 Scott Genius 930 medium. The unidentified thief took advantage of the situation and pulled a new bike out of the rack on the floor and walked off with it. I have posted a link to the bike bellow. I have the serial number and can identify the bike. The bike would have had no pedals and would have to have been pushed to a vehicle to make a getaway. Easy enough to blend in given the 300 racers on bikes milling around but maybe one of you noticed the lack of pedals or someone that just didnt fit in? I would like any and all help you can provide. Here are some ways you can help: 1) Any and all pictures taken at or near the start of the race. You never know what detail may be hiding in the back ground. 2) Eyes on the internet looking out for this bike being sold through the normal channels.
