Hello ladies, I saw a post this week by Ginger Meth about a hairsalon in Jozi that was selling As I Am hair products. So I ran to go see for myself becos I couldnt believe that they were selling them so close by only to get an awesome surprise and AMAZING service and meet such lovely people who work at Good Hair Today. I was just there looking at the products available and was surprised to see that they had quiet a selection of natural hair friendly products and even better they also knew and understood the products very well. I ended up getting into a dicussion with the ladies there explaining why so many naturals were interested in the products and were excited about them being sold locally and for such reasonable prices. To cut a long story short the head lady at the salon mentioned that they really are interested in specializing in natural hair too its just that they are in need someone with expertise to come and teach them the basics with handling natural hair and what natural hair ladies would be interested in getting done at a hair salon. She mentioned that if there is a demand that they are willing to cater for that but assistance will be needed. So I remembered a conversation many girls were having on here about wishing they could find a place to get their natural hair done and if there was anyone who knew anywhere. Everyone I researched the salon a little and was surprised to find great reviews on it and even one from a naturalists an her experience there (jozichic.wordpress/2014/01/20/nv-hairstylists/).
