Hello lovely new likers! I shall welcome you with a poem: Childrens bedrooms - where to start... Theres no room to move No room to fart I trip and stumble over stuff Its everywhere! Ive had enough Of hitting ankles And stubbing toes On toys and Lego Heaven knows What lurks beneath your messy bed I cannot count the times Ive said Please clear your room of all the mess! It leads to chaos, annoyance and stress When simple things cannot be found I swear to god if I had a pound For every item you couldnt find Id be a rich woman Instead of out of my mind Socks and uniform: nowhere to be seen But you do have a year-old magazine Thats missing pages And covered in ink And what the hell is that horrible stink? There is something in this room that reeks Its your swimming costume thats been missing for weeks! Is it solely the job of a mother To be the one who must discover Where every item; perfect, defaced Is left or hidden, stashed or placed I love my children but I want to cry When I hear the words Mu-um......have you seen my.... I wonder would it be a sin To put some stuff into the bin? I tried it once For my daughter to beg Dont chuck the dolly with one leg! It seems every item whether broken or intact Still has its place So its a fact If I cannot face their bedroom floor The answer is to close the door.
