Hello my Sangha! Blessings and Thankfulness, Always! :) I have been busy with my dogs, Mala and Raja, the loves of my life! Those dogs give me such joy, and for that, I am glad. I, too, give to them all my love and attention, they have a good life here with me. Once again, all I can say is, I am so thankful to be a Buddhist. I have been going through some things lately that if I werent a Buddhist, I am not certain how I would be strong enough. But being Buddhist, gives me strength for who I am, understanding and wisdom in my heart, and I mostly desire Peace Within. I never had that kind of peace within, before becoming Buddhist. I understand now. I have been blessed to come to Buddhism. I am thankful for that very day, when I delved into Buddhism. A day I will not forget, I still have it in my memory, although, I try to diminish memories as much as I humanly can, they do not serve me well. Memories, I remember, hurt me beyond an inexplicable way. Good and fond ones, can even hurt, because they are not present. The not so good ones, hurt too, because they are not present, and when I am not present, I know there is pain. So, I smile knowing the present, and I smile for Blessings and giving thanks to much in my life. I have been serving others as I know this is my purpose in life. When I am asked to help in certain situations to help others in life, I certainly do my part. And that, makes me happy. I dont ask for anything in life, nor do I expect anything from anyone in life. Big Big Lesson learned by my being Buddhist. Thank you, Buddha! My Daughters wedding was not too long ago, and I was not afraid of representing who I am today.........A Buddhist........... No one in my family is nor any of my friends, just my Sangha here, via internet. :) You all understand me just fine, Dhanyavad! Anyway, I wore all of my Mala Beads and Rudraksha Beads, I wore my Buddha Necklace, and I wore my long brown dress made in India, with the matching jacket to go with it. I wore sandals with Jewels on them, matched the long dress nicely, so I thought. I am sorry I dont have a picture of it, I didnt even take my camera, remember, I am not a big fan of pictures anymore, but that is just me, a personal thing for me. Pictures for me, belong in the category of memories, and it doesnt work well for me. I dont mind being in pictures, but for me to take them and print them, I do not do. I did see some of her pictures and they are beautiful! I admire others pictures, but as I said, I am better to not take them and have them around. :) But, I do take pictures of my dogs and of myself, showing you all my dogs, or maybe pictures of my Daughter and my Grandkids, but they are only on my computer, so if ever I want to share with you all, I can go to my downloaded pics and share. :) I also take pics of Nature and of Historical places, such as the ones I have already shared here with all of you. Anyway, I hope this finds you well and filled with Joy. I hope you have peace in your life and that you are taking life easy and enjoying it as much as possible, and like the Dalai Lama says........It is always Possible. :) He actually said, Be Kind Whenever Possible, It is always Possible. :) Much Love to All of You, and take care of yourself, if you arent at peace and find you are harboring hatred, let it go! For yourself...... You will find that your life will become much more at ease with everything. Even if someone has hurt you, you must not dwell on it and for your own peace, be at peace within. We cannot change rude or mean people, that is life. But what we can do is be at peace with Self. The I AM. :) How do I know??? I have been hurt beyond words in life, as some of you might have been, too. But, my Buddhism has taken me far in life, and has taught me how to work on me, just me. The I Am. :) and my Sangha that works, at least it does for me and as I share my thoughts and wisdom with you, I hope you too, can understand my words I convey to you.
