Hello my Steamsisters! I was asked by the wonderful Dianne Keast - TopicsExpress

Hello my Steamsisters! I was asked by the wonderful Dianne Keast to post my steampunk persona on here, so here we go! My persona is a woman by the name of Dr. Amelia Avis Rosny, but prefers to be called Dr.Avis or just Avis. An only child who grew up without a mother, she developed a more of a tom-boyish personality from interacting with her father and his colleagues, preferring riding, hunting, and more scholarly exploits of languages and history than more accepted Victorian behavior for girls her age. Her father let her indulge in her choice of entertainments. He was a lawyer, and when he passed on, Avis claimed her fathers wealth, went to University, and chose to pursue a career in Archaeology. She specialized in Ancient Mesoamerican, Roman, Egyptian, and Greek cultures, and chose to hire airships run by pirates, as opposed to the more acceptable modes of transportation. She preferred to travel in a more adventurous style, and became so well known for her archaeological achievements, she was recruited by a branch of the United International Relations, a branch called The League of Temporal Enforcement. The LTE travel into history to ensure time isnt abused or tampered with. They do a number of things, such as apprehending temporal criminals, debunking historical theories, and anthropological study, which is mostly what Avis does. The anthropological scientists have perception filters to keep from past civilizations becoming tampered by their presence. Its still in progress, and unfortunately I have no pictures of my recent steampunk outfits, but I have several projects to expand my costuming for this character. Hope you like her!
