Hello my name is Kiki. I am approximately 3 to 4 year old Husky mix. I have 1 half white eye which my dad tells me is pretty cool but also says sometimes when I look at him a certain way that I’m cock-eyed. However, that makes me unique and doesn’t make me any less adorable. I was a mother of 8 and my human was my foster dad and helped me to find homes for all of my pups. I was a little skinny in those days but my human has fattened me up to 56lbs. I’m kennel trained and doggie door trained. I also love to go on walks. I walk well on leash but I’ll be honest and say when I first get outside on my leash I get really excited so you need to calm me down then I am great. It only takes a second or two to do so, so don’t worry. I’m not like these other crazy dogs that take ten minutes to get walking. I’m great with puppies and male dogs, but I am not getting along very well with my humans alpha female dog. That was my humans concern when he first decided to keep me and make me part of his pack. His alpha and I got along great for the last year, but I had my soul mate to keep me busy and his name was Bull. Bull passed over the rainbow bridge 15 weeks ago and since then my humans alpha female has not been so tolerant of me being around. We’ve been in a couple small scuffles but my human was there to help calm her and me. NOTE that I get very stressed when being dominated by another dog. I got out of my kennel one day when we were home alone and it wasn’t pretty. My human had to take me to the doctors and I even got some stitches. He reunited us under supervision at all times and we are getting along ok, but as soon as he turns his back, she’s being mean to me and I get hurt again. It’s very stressful on me and my human. We can’t even be in the same room anymore without some growling. Thank goodness for metal kennels. I’m staying with my human’s sister for a few days to help me heal a little. I love his sister, she loves me but she can’t keep me there either because I need a place to run and play. She’s in a little apt and there’s just no where to go. Altho while I am there she is doing some of my favorite things like cuddling and rubbing my belly and behind my ears. Oh I love that stuff so much. She also has grandchildren that I like to snuggle with and let them pet me. I am back with my human now because his sister’s apartment said I could not stay anymore. He’s keeping me separated from his alpha female but I’m very nervous and stressed out. It makes me nervous even seeing her on the other side of the fence so I been hiding and spending a lot of time in my crate. He is trying his best and letting me have play time with the boy dogs that I love and get along well with. So that makes me feel a little better. I’m a very dedicated girl and would love to find a home where someone would love me forever. My human will always love me but he needs to make sure I’m safe and stress free as well. So even tho I hate the idea of leaving him, I know he’s doing it for me. He’d be very happy if he could stay in touch or visit as well if you are ok with that? If not, he understands and is mostly concerned with me being in a safe, fun, loving home. Thank you for listening to my story and hopefully we can meet and fall in love. Oh yeah, I forgot, I hate going in pools(but I can swim), however, when you’re not looking I’ll fake you out and sneak in to get my feet wet anyway. Also, I LOVE sprinklers, they are so much fun to play with however my human says it’s best not to put them on when I’m awake unless you want to be replacing them all the time because I have really strong jaws. That’s something I totally disagree with him on, I think you should let me have fun with them.
