Hello, my name is Pumpkin and I love the pool! It is a nice way to cool your toes on a hot day, right?? I thought I might take a few minutes to talk about myself, ok?? I am hoping to find a new family to share my love with. I am an affectionate girl once I get to know you. My Bff volunteer friends love to cuddle with me. After our walks and romps in the play yard I jump right up onto their lap for some kisses and loving. I know some basic commands like sit and no. I still need to learn some stuff though. Do you think you can teach me? I am a smart girl and can learn quickly with your love and consistency. I do love treats too, especially hot dogs. I would rather be the only animal in the house, but I dont mind walking with other pups. I am getting better at it and maybe I will even have a play date in the future. I am hopeful!! So, I am in kennel one waiting for you to visit. We are opened daily from 12-6 and weekends from 12-5. Hope to see you soon. Love, licks and hugs, Pumpkin I came to AHS-Tinton Falls in the fall so they named me Pumpkin! Its a term of endearment and it seems to suit me quite well! I havent had such a great start in my young life. I was found wandering the streets and seems I got into some trouble along the way. I got my face all torn up by something. But I got all stitched up and have healed nicely. That darn cone is now gone, too, thank goodness! So I say adios to the past and look toward my future, which will hopefully include a family that will love me as much as I will love them. I am a little lovebug, just ask all my friends at the shelter. While I love to take walks, I often stop and look up at you with my adoring eyes and my flip flop ears in the hopes we can take some breaks for pets and kisses. Nothing I love more than that. Im learning about all the great things that I have missed out on in my life. Walks, lots of affection, running around without a care in the world.
