Hello, my name is Scott and I live in an SRO in San Franciscos Mission District. Ive lived here for 18 years now, which is the longest Ive lived anywhere. I have over 10 years of experience as a security guard in my past. I would like to return to work and start to build a stable future for myself. I need to take classes to get a guard card so I can return to security work. Im 63, 385 lbs and that makes it hard to move around much. Because of my size people are easily intimidated by me . If they really got to know me, they would realize that even though Im a big guy, I have an even bigger heart. My goal is to lose weight to be able to get around easier. That will help me to get a job. I walk everywhere I go in the city to get exercise. I could really use a good pair of walking shoes, which are hard to find in my size. With comfortable shoes and the money to take the classes for a guard card, I can try to find a part time job.
