Hello there! It seems this week is a lion week! We cannot complain about not seeing these big cats. We had the same female with her juvenile with a blue wildebeest kill at the fenceline. Guests hat came to Gomo Gomo probably spotted them on the kill on their way. We were also fortunate enough to see Mila and Lisa again and the cubs are healthy and well. We saw 2 of them suckling on their mother and then one munching on a stick. We could only see 2 of them but we suspect the other one to be in the grasses, as they are in a new den sight. We also found Mila and Lisa again yesterday afternoon. Not too long after all this excitement, we got a call that a male lion is roaring not to far from where we stopped for drinks. We had to cut our break short to go see the lion. We were fortunate enough to have him roar right next to our vehicle. Absolutely wonderful! Other than that we have also been seeing plenty of elephants and the hippo is also back in our dam in front of the lodge. Have a wonderful week everyone!
