Hello, to all. An amazing thing happened on Thursday. My brother, Chris, called from New Orleans and said, I will be hanging with you this weekend. I had the most wonderful Saturday, picking him up at the Marriot, going to a diner for breakfast, watching him surprise my Auntie Elsie (91) and see him give to her the gift of time, teasing and hysterical laughter. His jokes... He took me shopping, bought a pantry full of yummies for Aunty Elsie, that cannot possibly fit in her room at Shelton Lakes... At the mall we met one of my students and his Mom. I was so proud. Then, we went back to Shelton Lakes and spent more time with Auntie Elsie. At the mall, I watched my brother have a blast picking out some surprises for peeps at home,( NO TELLING). He showed me pictures of his Mastiff, Tara, 130 pounds! No, I cannot have another MAMMAL (There is a HINT HERE!!) Then he introduced me to skyping. (sp) I KNOW all of my work friends understand how technologically challenged I am, would have (pardon me) LTheirAO when I thought I was looking at a picture, and the picture began to TALK TO ME! Some of you may LAUGH, but my work friends know the truth!!! We went back to visit with Auntie Elsie this morning. Chris is having Sunday sauce and meat balls with people he loves for a few hours. I will see him at 3:00 to wave good by. I think I am going to make a fool out of myself crying. I know I am. This has really, really been a wonderful 2 days for me.
