Hello to all: Here is todays update from Jacobs Well: For Thursday; November 6th. Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Pat Edwards from LAG and our newly elected Deaconess came by to hit the streets talking to folks passing by. She is a joy to see in action. A rather gloomy day started out with a few visitors we hadnt seen in quite some time. John one of our longtime friends stopped in, we haven’t seen him in over a month: John told us that he had been in the hospital and had to recoup for a while being the reason he had not been by. We enjoyed some long conversation over several cups of coffee and sent John home with several sweatshirts and a jacket. Please keep John in prayer he is dealing with a number of long term medical issue’s. Eliana and her husband stopped in and had some conversation with Nellie, (Spanish speaking) they grabbed some coffee and scooted after Nellie spent a while encouraging them to check out the church they had been referred to previously. Adriano, a regular zipped in grabbed coffee and zipped out with nothing more than an “I am off to feed the ducks” A man named Innocence (From Zimbabwe) whom we have had several contacts with in the past came by for a chat; this man has some interesting interpretations of Scripture. Pastor Steve and Pat Edwards both attempted to give him some understanding on both church attendance and giving. Not too sure the truth was received but we still parted friends. Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for their sin. They no longer need to live their lives without the knowledge of God (Matthew 20:28) Staff in Attendance: Pastor Steve, Nellie and Rob.
