Hello to all my Facebook Friends & Family: I WISH TO ANNNOUNCE THAT I AM SEEKING RE-ELECTION AS A CANDIDATE FOR THE OFFICE OF CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE TOWN OF CHURCH POINT, LOUISIANA. I am writing to ask for your VOTE and CONTINUED SUPPORT in the next CHIEF of POLICE Election in Church Point, Louisiana on November 4, 2014. Due to the overwhelming support, I have decided to seek re-election for the office that I have proudly represented. For the past 24 out of 28 years the voters of Church Point have entrusted me with this responsibility, one which I gladly accept. My pledge to you has been the same from day one and I will continue to fulfill my responsibility in my service to you as your Chief of Police. I also served four years proudly as your Constable for Ward 3 under the Honorable Elton Bee Cormier, Justice of The Peace. Through time we have made great progress in this department. We strive to maintain a department that proactive in fighting crime, and continue to assist all the citizens residing in and around the Town of Church Point for a more positive and safe community. Two years ago I asked you to support a Law Enforcement Tax to help fund pay increases to the police personnel and to hire an experienced criminal investigator. You overwhelmingly supported this and I thank you. Since that time, we hired an experienced Criminal Investigator, received new police units, and computerized the police department bringing us into the twenty-first century, all making our ability to respond faster and more effectively utilizing our resources toward solving crimes. All complaints filed as of June 3, 2013 are now on a permanent computerized server and remain available for future issues, when necessary, and we will continue to make progress in the department and use a proactive response in the community. I wish to thank my Administrative Staff, Patrol Division, & Criminal Investigations Division for all the work that they do in keeping a safe community for the citizens living in Church Point, Louisiana.
